“Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?'
Expediency asks the question, 'Is it politic?'
Vanity asks the question, 'Is it popular?'
But conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?'
And there comes a time when one must take a position
that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular
but because conscience tells one it is right.”

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

You are holy (You are holy)
You are mighty (You are mighty)
You are worthy (You are worthy)
Worthy of praise (Worthy of praise)

I will follow (I will follow)
I will listen (I will listen)
I will love You (I will love you)
All of my days (All of my days)

I will sing to (You are Lord of Lords)
And worship (You are King of kings)
The King who (You are mighty God)
Is worthy (Lord of everything)
I will love and (You're Emannuel)
Adore You (You're the Great I am)
And I will bow down (You're my Prince of peace)
before You (Who is the Lamb)
I will sing to (You're my living God)
And worship (You're my saving grace)
The King who (You will reign forever)
Is worthy (You are ancient of days)
I will love and (You are alpha, omega)
Adore You (beginning and end)
And I will bow down (You're my Savior, Messiah)
Before You (Redeemer and friend)
You're my Prince of Peace
And I will live my life for You

'..almost everything we become attached to we'll eventually lose:
our possessions, our loved ones, and even our youth and health.
Yes, each loss is a blow. But it's also an opportunity.
There's an old Sufi saying:
"When the heart weeps for what it's lost,
the soul rejoices for what it's gained."

So when you feel the pain of loss,
please don't grab at something to take away the pain.
Just have faith that pain, like everything else, is transitional.'

-Letters to Sam, Daniel Gottlieb.

and suddenly im not afraid of losing anymore.
i seem to have.. let go. to accept the change, and then move on.
and i will not cry because it is lost, but smile because it happened.

how much can you see when you keep looking back?
stop being blinded. go on; see the world.

[ '.. people's inability to choose their own Personal Legends.
And it ends up saying that everyone believes the world's greatest lie.'

'What's the world's greatest lie?' the boy asked, completely surprised.

'It's this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what's happening to us,
and our lives become controlled by fate. That's the world's greatest lie.'

'When you really desire something,
all the universe conspires to help you to realize you dream.'  ]

- The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho

I really like reading this book. It answers questions i have been pondering over for a long while.

Today's bible verse:
What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?
Mark 8:36

apt.
